How to watch the Cincinnati Open!

Tennis on TV next week: How to watch the Cincinnati Open!

With the US Open fast approaching, the Cincinnati Open is the last big opportunity for players to perfect their hard court game before the final major of the year.

And we at Tennishead have all the information on how you can watch players like Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff:

How can you watch the Cincinnati Open (ATP/WTA 1000)?

Jannik Sinner suffered only his fifth loss of the year in Montreal against Andrey Rublev, but despite fears of a possible injury, the Italian seems to be heading to the tournament in Cincinnati.

However, the world number one will have to improve significantly compared to his three previous appearances at the Masters 1000 tournament, as he has never made it past the third round in Cincinnati.

Sinner will also have to face reigning Roland Garros and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz, who is playing his first tournament since losing in the Olympic final.

Alcaraz was moved to tears in Cincinnati last year after losing to Novak Djokovic in the final despite earning a championship point, and wants to do even better in 2024.

Other top seeds in the tournament include former champions Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev, as well as Hubert Hurkacz, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud, Grigor Dimitrov, Stefanos Tsitsipas and American hopefuls Tommy Paul, Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton.

There is also a threat from wildcard player Matteo Berrettini, who has a winning streak of ten matches following his clay court titles in Gstaad and Kitzbühel.

Berrettini wants to continue his winning streak in Cincinnati, but to do so he will have to face tough opponent Holger Rune, seeded 15th, in the first round.

In the women’s competition, Iga Swiatek is the top seed and is trying to put the disappointment of missing out on the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris behind her.

Cincinnati is one of the few WTA 1000 titles that Swiatek has not yet won, but there are five former champions in the field, including last year’s winner Coco Gauff, Victoria Azarenka, Madison Keys, Karolina Pliskova and Caroline Garcia.

Wildcards were awarded to Grand Slam winners Caroline Wozniacki and Bianca Andreescu as well as top American tennis hopefuls Peyton Stearns and Caroline Dolehide, while former number 1 Naomi Osaka has to settle for the qualifying draw.

You can watch the Cincinnati Open on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland and other parts of Europe, or on Tennis Channel in the United States of America. You can also watch the ATP tournament worldwide on Tennis TV.
