Ida L. Corle, age 71, of Rockton, PA, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.
She was born on October 14, 1952 in DuBois, PA, to the late Harry Drum and Virginia (Brady) Hollen.
On June 9, 1973, she married George L. Corle. He died before her on March 9, 2017.
Ida worked at Fashion Bug for many years and gave driving lessons.
She was a member of the Daughters of Scotia, the Falls Creek Eagles, and the Gelnett Memorial Church. Ida enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, and going to fairs and festivals with her husband and their food stand.
Ida leaves behind two daughters (Trudy Graham and her husband Steve of Rockton, PA and Tracy Charles of Chattanooga, TN), seven grandchildren (Kayla Keller, Steven Huseby, Alex Huseby and his wife Stacy, Andrew Corle, Shelby Chattin, Stephanie Lindenmuth and her husband Dillon and Isaiah Lezama), five great-grandchildren (Hayden and Brooklyn Corle, Carson and Kali Chattin and Iris Huseby), a sister (Charlotte Caltagarone and her husband Charlie of Reynoldsville, PA), a half-sister (Cheryl Murray of DuBois, PA) and her adorable “fur babies” Rylee and Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her grandson (James Keller, Jr.), a brother (Harry Drum), and her aunt Mary Miktuk, whom she loved very much.
Friends will be received on Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at Gelnett Memorial Church.
The funeral service will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the church. David Peterson will lead the service.
