West Virginia University offensive tackle Wyatt Milum was named to the Lombardi Award 2024 Preseason Watch List on Thursday afternoon.
Last season, Milum allowed no sacks or quarterback hits, allowed just eight quarterback pressures and paved the way for a running attack that led the Power Five Conference on the ground with 2,976 rushing yards.
Milum was selected to the All-Big 12 second team last season and was the 2024 Iron Mountaineer Award recipient.
Established in 1970 in memory of legendary coach Vince Lombardi, the Lombardi Award™ recognizes outstanding linemen who best embody the values of leadership, courage, performance and discipline on and off the field. Additionally, the watch list includes players who consistently demonstrate strength, agility and football skill at their respective positions.
As the 2024 season begins, not only will this group of student-athletes be kept in mind, but this list is dynamic. One or more standout players may emerge throughout the year. And that player or players may be added to the watch list mid-season.
