1. He was born on April 29, 1993 in Louisville, Kentucky.
2. Thomas has 15 PGA Tour victories to his name, with his first victory coming in 2015 in Kuala Lumpur at the CIMB Classic, where he defeated Adam Scott by one stroke.
3. Thomas and Jordan Speith have known each other since they were 14 years old. They have become close friends and both players represented the USA at the 2007 Evian Junior Masters. The pair have developed into a formidable team on US teams at the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
4. Golf runs in the Thomas family’s blood. Both his father and grandfather played professionally. His grandfather played in the US Open, where he was once paired with Arnold Palmer.
5. Justin started playing golf at the age of two. His father Mike, a club professional, introduced him to the game and continues to be his coach and mentor.
6. Besides winning a major, Thomas had two main goals in golf: becoming the world number one and making the USA Ryder Cup team. He achieved both goals in 2018.
7. Thomas made his PGA Tour debut at the 2009 Wyndham Championship at age 16, four years before turning professional. He is the fourth-youngest player to make the cut on the PGA Tour.
8. He currently lives in Jupiter, Florida.

10. Thomas is married to Jillian Wisniewski. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in Tennessee in November 2022.
11. Justin became the seventh player in PGA Tour history and the youngest ever to shoot a round of 59 at the 2017 Sony Open in Hawaii. He won the tournament, his fourth victory on the PGA Tour, by seven strokes.

13. During the 2000 PGA Championship in Valhalla, seven-year-old Justin received an autograph from Jack Nicklaus.

15. He was one of only five players to win ten or more PGA Tour events, including a major, before their 27th birthday. The others are Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth.

21. Thomas split from his caddie, Jim “Bones” Mackay, ahead of the 2024 Masters. The two began working officially together in September 2021, after Bones spent a stint as an on-course commentator. Thomas’ caddie is now Patrick Cantlay’s former caddie Matt Minister.
22. Thomas is an investor in the fitness tracker company Whoop. His close friend and multiple major winner McIlroy is also an investor.
