Spain’s leading football league, LaLiga EA Sports, starts its 94th season this week, running from Thursday, August 15 to Sunday, May 25, 2025.

To kick off the season, Athletic Club will face Getafe at the Estadio de San Mamés in Bilbao, Spain, beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT).

To live stream the 2024-25 La Liga season online, you can subscribe to ESPN+ for $10.99/month, but if you don’t want to subscribe monthly, you can subscribe annually for $109.99/year (a 15% saving on the monthly price).

Meanwhile, ESPN+ subscribers have access to live sports from UFC, NFL, NHL and Formula 1, as well as original shows such as “30 for 30,” “The Man in the Arena with Tom Brady,” “The Captain with Derek Jeter” and “Peyton’s Place with Peyton Manning.”

In the 2023/24 season, Real Madrid CF was crowned champion after Girona beat Barcelona 4-2. Time will tell if Real Madrid can win its 37th title or if Barcelona or Girona will be promoted in the league.

Additionally, you can subscribe to the Disney Trio, which includes ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+, starting at $14.99/month. This package is ideal for those who already have one (or both) of these services but also want to add sports coverage and live sports streaming.

On Disney+ you’ll find hits like The Mandalorian, X-Men 97, The Mighty Ducks: The Great Adventure, and the film Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers, while on Hulu you’ll find originals like Bear, Shogun, Only Murders in the Building, and Solar Opposites.

La Liga’s 2024–25 regular season live streams begin Thursday, August 15 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT on ESPN+.
