Connect ONE from Connected Technologies LLC, in partnership with Cansec Systems Ltd., Mississauga, Canada, has added direct cloud integration with MAP access controllers. Cansec’s signature Modular Access Panels, or MAP, are self-contained access controller boards that manage one to eight doors and up to 100,000 users. Multiple controllers can also be installed to manage access systems of any size.

The Connect ONE hosted platform enables seamless cloud control of a wide range of devices and systems through a single management interface. The new integration partnership enables MAP access controllers to easily and exclusively use outbound network communications and additional management control through the Connect ONE application. Users can complete a variety of programming and scheduling tasks without additional hardware such as an intrusion alarm system, streamlining projects while adding functionality. The integration enables:
- Availability of 256 access time slots for scheduling and permissions.
- The ability to create and manage door and exit schedules and define security/lockout mode task rules when arming and disarming.
- Support during emergency lockdowns.
- Map import function and user API support for external software integration.
- Support for Farpointe Conekt Bluetooth credentials.
- Card reader access configuration options, such as card only or card plus PIN.
- Access to other Connect One features including GeoView satellite mapping, event and time rules, mass notification, visitor management, and the latest emergency response platform.
