In a transaction brokered by CBRE, Allsteel, a leading manufacturer of office furniture and architectural products, has committed to a lease for 75,000 square feet of office space at Hines’ 1050 17th Street, a trophy boutique office building in Washington, DC. Allsteel will occupy prime office space on the second floor of the building.

Randy Harrell, Lara Nealon, Joe Coleman and Brittany Gosnell of CBRE led the leasing campaign for 1050 17th Street and represented Hines in negotiations. Tucker Farman of JLL represented Allsteel in the leasing transaction.

“1050 17th Street is one of the best office addresses on the market and sets the standard for modern workspace,” said Harrell. “The building’s ideal location in the heart of the city, elegant design, world-class air quality, sustainability and customizable floor plates provide the environment that today’s tenants are looking for.”

1050 17th Street is an 11-story, 154,000-square-foot building with other tenants in the building including Davis Polk and Dweck Properties. According to a recent CBRE report, prime office space in Washington, DC continues to outperform the market, with only 12.6% available in the second quarter of 2024.
