Meet Dominik Marczuk

Here are some things you should know about Dominik as we welcome him to Utah:

1) Dominik – now just 20 years old and 21 on November 1st of this year – signed his first professional contract at the age of 16 with his hometown club Podlasie Biala Podlaska, a third division team, for which he played 19 games in the 2019 season.

2) Dominik recently played four UEFA Champions League qualifiers for Jagiellonia Bialyst, who were eliminated by Norwegian giants Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday. In those four games, Dominik played 336 of a possible 360 ​​minutes and provided one assist.

3) In his very first appearance for first division club Jagiellonia Bialystok in September 2023, Dominik recorded three assists and was named Player of the Matchday in Poland after helping Bialystok to a 3-2 win over Radomiak Radom.

4) Dominik is the first Polish player in the 20-year history of the RSL and the 21st from a UEFA country, joining Greek defender Alex Katranis and Portuguese midfielder Diogo Gonçalves as the 2024 European signings. He is believed to be the 26th Polish player to sign with an MLS team in the 29-year history of the North American league and the sixth active Polish player for the 2024 MLS season. He joins Mateusz Bogusz (LAFC), Mateusz Klich (DCU), Sebastian Kowalczyk (HOU), Bartosz Slisz (ATL) and Karol Swiderski (CLT).

5) Dominik joins Real Salt Lake for the 2023/24 season as the best young player in the Polish Ekstraklasa. This season he was instrumental in Jagiellonia Bialystok’s first-ever championship season, the first league title in the club’s 100-year history.
