History lover and film producer and director Ram Alladi revealed the motivation behind making a film like Panne, which is set in the post-independence era: “While making Ra’s Metanoia, I had the opportunity to read over a thousand letters of Gandhi Ji that he had received and written from the CWMG (Collective Works of Mahatma Gandhi) and thus learn more about that period. Just to remind the people who lived in the dungeons and who are still trapped in those dungeons about the importance of independence. The dungeons of social imbalance, that was the reason I decided to make this film.”

Ram Alladi will release “Panne” on his latest streaming platform “In Talkies”, which will launch simultaneously with the film.
