Do you have a sneaking suspicion that something is rumbling in your house in the middle of the night?

A new app could now confirm your fears and tell you how many people might have died in your home before you moved in.

The DiedInHouse app can reveal the entire gruesome past of your property and the shady characters associated with it – in case you’re looking to spend a particularly restless night.

There is also the potential to reveal other unclear details, such as meth labs that may have been set up in the property before you moved in.

Currently available only in the United States, it only discloses the details of properties for which release information is available in public records.

Among the prominent homes listed in the app is that of the late Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994.

The ad for his home at 171 Lake Washington Blvd, Seattle, states: “Kurt Cobain was an American musician and artist, best known as the lead singer, guitarist, and principal songwriter for the band Nirvana.”

“On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home. Officially, it was ruled suicide by shotgun wound to the head.”
