Backyard Sports seems to be coming back with or without Jason Kelce

Before we begin, listen to the analysis by Caitlin Hendricks, who did an excellent detective job:

Reply to @TheMattWeinberg: The conspiracy is thickening and are the Kelce brothers involved in Backyard Sports?! #backyardbaseball #backyardsports #millennial #detective #baseball #sports #videogame #conspiracytiktok #greenscreen

At the time of writing this article, the Instagram account has over 8,000 followers and I found a verified TikTok page. And as you know about TikTok, the company doesn’t just verify everyone.

Anyway, it seems to be an attempt in some ways. What is Playground Productions? Here is an article from their website:

Playground Productions is a kids and family company focused on producing world-class films, television shows, digital media and video games. Playground creates content that encourages the spirit of play, meets kids where they are developmentally, and allows kids to be kids.

You can follow the paper trail a little more. There is a guy on LinkedIn named Ari Pinchot who “

But if you click on Pinchot’s LinkedIn, you won’t find anything that indicates that. Something is definitely going on, and it involves Pinchot, who, according to the Wikipedia page, has supposedly developed a film about Backyard Sports. If you corner Pinchot, you’ll get an answer about Backyard Sports.

Jason Kelce should probably make some calls to see how he gets in. I would be shocked if he wasn’t involved in some form as an investor or at least a playable character. If Backyard Sports does indeed make a comeback, what a year it’s going to be for video games. First CFB 25 and now Pablo Sanchez, Keisha Thomas and Pete Wheeler are returning. Nostalgia town. I kind of want them to keep the same graphics as when we were kids. Who needs 8k? That’s not Call of Duty this is Backyard Sports. All we need is 8-bit graphics and “WE WANT A BAT, NOT A BROKEN LADDER!”
