Donald Trump appears without Melania and Barron Trump for early voting in Florida

Former President Donald Trump was seen casting his ballot in Florida’s Republican primary on Wednesday without his wife Melania and son Barron, who has now reached voting age.

Outside the polling station, Trump briefed reporters on his upcoming rally in North Carolina, where he planned to address his classic issues: immigration, crime and the economy.

Trump also said the FBI contacted him following a hacking attack that his campaign blamed on Iran.

“They’re watching it,” Trump said, referring to the FBI. “And they’re doing it very professionally and it looks like it’s Iran, Iran, that’s doing it, because Iran is no friend of mine.”

When asked by a reporter whether the FBI had “specifically told” Trump that his campaign team had been hacked by Iran, Trump replied, “I don’t want to say exactly, but it was Iran.”

“We have a level of enthusiasm that no one has ever seen before,” Trump said when asked about his comments claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris lied about the size of one of her groups using an artificial intelligence-generated image. “They want to make America great again. That’s what’s happening. We’re going to make it great again. Right now, we’re a failing nation.”

According to The Hill, Trump did not disclose how he voted, particularly on some of the state’s ballot proposals, which include an abortion ban.

The Daily Beast has reached out to the Trump team for comment on Trump’s vote today, but no response was available at the time of publication.

While Trump will undoubtedly vote for himself in the federal election, some of his former aides, including former Trump White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, have announced they plan to vote for Harris in November.
