Fontaines DC present their first video “Here’s The Thing”

Fontaines DC have released a new video for romance Track “Here’s The Thing,” the third single from the band’s upcoming LP and debut LP for XL Recordings, out August 23. “Here’s The Thing” was written days before the band went into the studio to record the album. “It’s an anxious tune that twists and turns, back and forth between pain and numbness,” says Grian Chatten.

The video, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Luna Carmoon, perfectly captures the song’s intense feelings of paranoia. Channeling the essence of teen horror films like The Lost Boys and Phenomena, the “Here’s The Thing” video immerses us in a traditional Irish dance competition where chaos prevails, unfolding through Carmoon’s haunting lens.
