Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, more restaurants open in Norco – San Bernardino Sun

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has opened its fourth location in the Inland Empire.

The location at 3541 Hamner Ave., Norco, is its first location in Riverside County.

Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Norco location, which opened in late July, complements locations in Victorville, Barstow and Fontana.

Freddy’s isn’t the only new restaurant in Norco.

As I drove through the city, I saw several new restaurants.

A new Chinese restaurant, Chopstix Express, opened earlier this summer at 1845 Hamner Ave., Suite A, replacing coffee, doughnut and fried chicken vendor Birdies.

Opening hours are daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Two new restaurants were also spotted at the Hidden Valley Plaza shopping center.

Par 3 Sports Bar & Grill opened at 490 Hidden Valley Parkway, Suite 103.

At one point, the store, formerly Twisted Gourmet, was supposed to become Chophouse 363, but that never happened (and the original location in Chino closed).

The rather small menu includes burgers, chicken wings, salads, steaks, fish and chips and pastrami tacos.

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to midnight.

Lupe’s Cocina & Cantina opened in May at 510 Hidden Valley Parkway, Suite 101.

The restaurant offers typical Mexican dishes, including seafood.

Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Another Mexican restaurant, Taco Town USA, has opened in Horsetown, USA

The restaurant, 3699 Hamner Ave., Suite H, offers meat-filled tacos, burritos and tortas, as well as quesadillas, taquitos and chips. Vegetarian options are also available.

Breakfast is served until 11:00 a.m. (although chilaquiles are available all day) and menudo is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Fresh juices, shakes and smoothies are also available.

Opening hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., except Fridays when the restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to midnight.

The Rendez-Vous returns

Good news for fans of Colton’s former restaurant, Le Rendez-Vous Cafe, which closed in June.

The restaurant has completed its move and will open in Lake Elsinore on Thursday, August 15th.

It is located at 123 N. Main St., the former location of Felix’s BBQ with Soul.

The restaurant was originally located in San Bernardino, but changed ownership and moved to Colton in 2015.

Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

As much as you can eat

Three restaurants are offering all-you-can-eat deals for a limited time.

Both Denny’s and IHOP have all-you-can-eat pancakes.

Denny’s is served first as stacks of three flapjacks, the rest are served in stacks of two. Price and participation vary.
