Disney has begun warning guests not to use their phones in the parks.

Each Disney theme park has its own rules that guests must follow, ranging from simply not wearing inappropriate clothing to only smoking in designated areas. Guests are also asked to treat guests and staff with kindness and respect, as this goes a long way in preserving the “magic” of the theme parks.
Other policies will be familiar to theme park fans: Disney, for example, introduces the classic “hands, arms, feet and legs” warning before every ride and attraction.
These warnings are not only to protect guests, but also the rides themselves. Compared to other theme parks like Universal Studios and Six Flags, Disney is much more relaxed with its rules regarding personal belongings and allows guests to take most of their belongings with them on the rides.
However, Disney has begun cracking down on cell phone use at certain attractions.

Guests at the Disneyland Paris Resort will notice that new warning signs have been posted at a particular Toy Story-themed attraction. This particular attraction is called Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and invites guests to shrink down to the size of a toy soldier and fly high above the rest of the resort.
This attraction is located in the World of Pixar area of Walt Disney Studios Park, one of the European resort’s two theme parks.
Although the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop features a 79-foot drop, it is suitable for guests of almost all sizes and ages. However, due to the height, phones and other personal items pose a hazard to guests beneath the attraction.
For this reason, new warning signs have been placed throughout the attractions and ride seats.

It is not known whether further warning signs will appear on other rides and attractions at Disneyland Paris soon.

Walt Disney Studios Park is home to Disneyland Paris’ most exciting experiences, including the resort version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force.
The park is set to undergo major expansion soon and the Walt Disney Company made several announcements during its D23 fan event.
These announcements included the confirmation of a new whitewater ride with “e-ticket” based on The lion familyG and an opening timeframe for the park’s massive World of Frozen expansion.
