Google has expanded its product lineup in India with the launch of the Pixel Watch 3, its third-generation smartwatch, and the Pixel Buds Pro 2, a new set of truly wireless stereo earbuds (TWS).

These new devices were unveiled at the Made by Google hardware event, where the company also unveiled its latest Pixel 9 series smartphones. Both the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature AI and other personal technologies designed to improve the wearable user experience.

Pixel Watch 3: Specifications and features
The Pixel Watch 3 comes in two display sizes, 41mm and 45mm, giving users options to suit their preferences. The watch features Google’s new Actua display, a significant improvement over the previous generation AMOLED screen. This display supports a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, making the screen easier to see in bright environments. In low-light conditions, the brightness can be dimmed to as little as 1 nit, minimizing eye strain. Additionally, the bezels are now over 16% thinner, giving the watch a sleeker look.

The Pixel Watch 3 introduces several new fitness tracking features. Users can plan detailed running routines and monitor metrics such as cadence, stride length, and vertical oscillation. The watch also supports new fitness and cardio load tracking features designed to help users focus on recovery and optimize their fitness plans. Fitbit users benefit from a Morning Brief feature that provides a summary of their health information, including nightly changes in key metrics.

Despite the new features, battery life remains the same compared to the previous model, offering up to 24 hours of use with Always-On Display mode enabled. However, with Power Saving Mode enabled, the Pixel Watch 3 lasts up to 36 hours. The 41mm variant also supports 20% faster charging compared to the second-generation Pixel Watch, making it more convenient for users with busy schedules.

Pixel Buds Pro 2: Specifications and Features
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are Google’s latest TWS earbuds, featuring the new Tensor A1 chip that significantly boosts performance. This chip is designed to process audio at 90 times the speed of sound and is said to be twice as effective at active noise cancellation (ANC) compared to the first-generation Pixel Buds Pro. The earbuds also feature Google’s Silent Seal 2.0 technology, which improves noise cancellation, especially at higher frequencies.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature 11mm dynamic drivers optimized by the Tensor A1 chip to ensure excellent music playback. The updated Clear Calling feature reduces ambient noise during phone calls for clearer communication. The earbuds also support seamless audio switching between Pixel devices, including the Pixel Watch, increasing convenience for users with multiple Google devices.

A standout feature of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is call detection. This feature automatically pauses media playback and activates transparency mode when the user starts speaking, then resumes ANC and playback when the call ends. The earbuds also integrate with Google’s Find My Device network, allowing users to locate them on a map and make the earbuds or charging case ring when they are nearby.

Prices and availability
In India, the Pixel Watch 3 is priced at Rs 39,900 for the 41mm model with Wi-Fi connectivity, while the larger 45mm model starts at Rs 43,900. Both models are available in hazelnut, obsidian and porcelain colour options, with the 41mm variant also available in pink.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are priced at Rs 22,900 and come in four color options: Aloe, Charcoal, Hot Pink, and Porcelain.
