Know why Taapsee Pannu knows best how to add charm to sarees | Lifestyle Fashion

Mumbai: Of all the Bollywood actresses, Taapsee Pannu is the most versed in the uncanny art of draping sarees. The actress, who has two films releasing this month, has shared her newfound appreciation for sarees and how they have helped her explore a different side of her personality. Taapsee revealed that wearing sarees, which are a traditional part of Indian attire, has shown her a new side of herself and that they are truly ‘comfortable clothes’.

The actress said, “I think I discovered a new side of my personality. When I started wearing saris, and by saris, I don’t mean the ones that people usually wear on red carpets or on special occasions or festivals. I’m talking about the everyday saris.”

Taapsee, who is currently in Paris enjoying the Summer Olympics, was seen strolling around in her avant-garde saris. The actress recently attended the India-UK hockey match, which India won, securing a place in the semi-finals against Germany. Taapsee has collaborated with fashion label Suta and is channeling the bright colors of France while wearing stunning saris.

The actress remarked, “I noticed that a different side of my personality came out when I wore these saris. Over time, I liked what I saw in the mirror and I felt more and more comfortable wearing them.” On the work front, Taapsee will next be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’.

‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ is a sequel to her 2021 film ‘Haseen Dillruba’ and will be released on Netflix on August 9. ‘Khel Khel Mein’, a feature film, features Taapsee alongside Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal and will be released on August 15.
