How to unlock Inferno Reap and create Resonium kits

Update 1.1 for Zenless Zone Zero is here, and the new version brings a ton of exciting content. Among the new features you can experience in the upcoming patch is a new permanent endgame mode called Inferno Reap, where you’ll face off against Hollow Zero’s greatest threat: Nineveh.

For those with unreliable memories, Nineveh is the giant Ethereal we saw when we first entered Hollow Zero to get our Investigator License—Miyabi and Section 6 hunted the monster down in a stunning cutscene, though it managed to escape in the end.

Inferno Reap finally gives you the chance to fight this powerful enemy – here’s what you need to know about the new ZZZ mode.

To unlock Inferno Reap in ZZZ 1.1 and beyond, you must first complete Hollow Zero and Complete the level “Withering Garden – Core” the roguelike mode.

Once this is done, you will receive a Follow-up order “Leaf hunting” in which you dance tango with Ninveveh for the first time.

Inferno Reap will then be permanently available at Scott Outpost. In this mode you can earn Polychromes, Master Copies and XP materials, among other things.

Inferno Reap goes straight into the action against Nineveh, so you don’t have to explore Hollow Zero via TV gameplay. Of course, this has one major downside: without exploration, there’s no way to collect Resonia and power up your team for battle.

Of course, the developers have come up with something: Before you go into battle, you can Resonium kit for your team, consisting of a selection of Resonia available in Hollow Zero. After completing Foliage Hunt and unlocking Inferno Reap, you’ll receive a standard-type Resonium Kit to take into battle.

However, you can also Create your Resonium Kit to conquer Nineveh. To do this, you must play and complete Hollow Zero’s level “Withering Garden – Core”. This will allow you to salvage the equipment you collected during this expedition and use it as a Resonium Kit in Inferno Reap.

You can Store up to 15 Resonium kit loadouts and can override any set you want if you find a new combination that you like better.

As unfortunate as it is, we probably won’t be defeating Nineveh anytime soon – this mode is essentially about dealing as much damage as possible in a tight time limit.

You have three minutes to fight against Nineveh and deal as much damage as possible before the fight ends – otherwise you could be corrupted by his influence. However, there is a way increase the time limit They operate in: In Nineveh, strangler vines and hornets will appear during the battle. Destroying them will make the battle last longer, giving you more time to damage the main enemy.

When the timer strikes 120 seconds leftNineveh enters the Overload Activation Phase, where the Ethereal gets a massive damage boost – however, the amount of damage it takes also increases, so get ready to take advantage of this timing.

The effects of overload activation are even stronger for the last minute and then again for the last 30 seconds of battle and challenges you to not get hit under any circumstances while you keep the pressure on Nineveh.

The more damage you can do, the better your rewards will be.

It’s good that ZZZ 1.1 lets you cancel chain attacks, among other quality of life improvements.
