In one of the most brutal storylines in the X-Men comics, an enraged Magneto strips Wolverine of his adamantium. The character, played by Hugh Jackman in the live-action film, nearly dies when the precious metal is removed from his body. However, it was later revealed that adamantium prevented the mutant’s powers from maturing. In subsequent issues, fans see a wilder and more violent Wolverine.

In the A fateful affair In the Marvel comic story, Magneto unleashes his villainous self and intends to destroy humanity. When the government tries to limit Magneto’s power, he retaliates with a massive attack on Earth’s power source. When the X-Men, including Wolverine, try to stop him, the clawed mutant is subjected to torture by Erik Lehnsherr.

If fans thought that Hugh Jackman’s role in Deadpool and Wolverine was the wildest version of Logan, they were supposed to read a Marvel Comics story of the character. The A fateful affair Action in the Uncanny X-Men sees the most evil side of Magneto, who is angry at humans for attacking mutants.

The government, anticipating his attack, initiated the Magneto Protocols, a protective measure against the powerful mutant. The X-Men villain is not happy about this and immediately destroys these measures from a floating base in space. He then retaliates with an EMP attack on Earth, resulting in the deaths of thousands in hospitals after their life support machines stop working.

Wolverine and the other X-Men confront the villain in Avalon, where Magneto forcibly removes the adamantium from the clawed mutant’s body. His healing factor is in overdrive after the metal is removed from his body. In the comics, it almost brought him to the brink of death.

When Logan awakens from his near-death experience with a little help from Jean Grey, he feels different. He notices that his wild senses are heightened and he no longer feels pain. This Wolverine story was explained in an Instagram post by @ton_comics_blog.

Charles Xavier later revealed in the comics that the adamantium metal in his body was poisoning him and hindering the natural progression of his mutation. Logan became bigger, stronger and faster as a result. His bone claws also grew larger and his animalistic side became more prominent.

Fans suspect that the plot would appear in X-Men ’97 Season 2

The wilder side of Wolverine was something that caught the interest of MCU fans. Some of the fans compared Wolverine to his brother Sabretooth and felt that Logan was becoming more like his brother with his animalistic side. Fans also lobbied for the MCU to incorporate this story into the X-Men Movies.

After Magneto’s attack in the first season of X-Men ’97Many fans suspect that the series will include this storyline for Logan. The second season of the critically acclaimed series will hit theaters next year. Some of the fan reactions include:

It is also noteworthy that Jackman’s return as Wolverine in the MCU is not confirmed after Deadpool and Wolverine. It is possible that a new actor will replace Prestige – The Masters of Magic actor, with fans speculating that it is Henry Cavill. A fierce Cavillrine could be the best thing viewers will see in the MCU x X-Men universe.

Deadpool and Wolverine is running successfully in cinemas.
