On August 12, the 31-year-old Egyptian reality star flooded his Instagram with a stunning photo collage. From sunny Californian vibes to a tranquil boat ride to a snapshot with a desert backdrop, Mahmoud’s feed was a feast for the eyes.

This is Mahmoud’s first foray back into the spotlight since his February 28 arrest, which sparked a storm of outrage. The TLC star was charged with domestic violence following an argument with his estranged wife Nicole El Sherbiny.
The charges were reportedly dropped in July after the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office ruled, “We declined to prosecute.” So much for a dramatic courtroom confrontation—it seems Mahmoud’s legal troubles have fizzled out.
Mahmoud’s whereabouts are unclear
Nicole and Mahmoud made their debut in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 4 in 2023. Their romance began in Egypt, where they met in a fabric store. Nicole moved to Egypt to marry Mahmoud, but after just two months, she was itching to return to America.
After much back and forth, Mahmoud finally made his way to the USA. His arrival was confirmed on March 24 by 90 Day Fiancé: And they lived happily ever after? Unfortunately, their journey wasn’t always rosy – frequent arguments about Nicole’s choice of clothing led to Mahmoud dropping the “D” word, sparking speculation about their future.
Although Mahmoud later followed her to America, the couple did not get much airtime compared to the other cast members. Their last appearance was in episode 10, which aired in May.
And while viewers were excited to see how their cross-cultural saga continued, Mahmoud and Nicole were conspicuously absent from the tell-all show. Tell-all host Shaun Robinson confirmed their absence but wished the couple “all the best”.
