Report: Meghan Markle plans to expose the royals in new memoir

Meghan Markle’s first memoir is reportedly in the works.

And insiders of the project say that the Duchess has no plans to follow in her in-laws’ footsteps.

In fact, a source familiar with the situation tells Closer that Meghan plans to expose the royals like never before.

Source claims: Meghan Markle attacks the royals in her memoirs

Perhaps inspired by the success of Prince Harry’s memoir, Meghan reportedly plans to tell her side of the story without worrying much about what egos she might hurt in the process.

“The word among her friends is that it’s time to take off the gloves and stop being diplomatic,” the insider said.

“There is so much need for Meghan to speak out, whether it be in the form of another interview or even her own memoir. She has the potential to make an absolute fortune and clear up a lot of questions.”

What prompted Meghan to take this step?

The source further claimed that Meghan was furious when she learned of the royal rejection:

The royals had not invited Harry and Meghan to their annual summer holiday in Balmoral.

Although Harry and Meghan were “not shocked” by the exclusion, they were still hurt.

And this incident may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back and inspired Meghan to start a literary career.

The breach was a public humiliation for Harry and Meghan, and the Sussexes reportedly felt they had to respond.

“They are now forced to develop a strategy to fight back. And one option on the table is to go all out. A big reveal from Meghan, in which she fully lays out her side of the story,” the insider says.

Meghan has a lot to do

If the rumors are true, the book would come out at an already very busy time for Meghan.

Earlier this year, Meghan launched a new venture, a lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard.

The rollout is slow, but insiders say everything is going according to plan.

This also comes at a time when the Duchess of Sussex is more outspoken than ever.

In a recent interview with Jane Pauley, Meghan revealed that she is struggling with suicidal thoughts.

Fans speculated that Meghan was about to speak in more detail about the pain she had endured over the past few years.

And it looks like this prediction could soon come true.
