John Cena Retirement Tour: WWE legend reveals how many dates his final tour will include

We’re still a long way off until 2025, but that doesn’t mean John Cena isn’t still dominating WWE headlines after announcing his farewell tour during this year’s premium live event, Money in the Bank, in Toronto and urging the entire locker room to throw their hats in the ring.

The tour will literally last a whole year and although no opponents have been chosen yet (many are applying, e.g. The Miz, Joe Hendry, CM Punk, etc.), Cena certainly knows how many dates he will be booked for.

“I’m retiring in 2025 and I’m starting my farewell tour in January,” he confirmed to Collider via Fightful. “I’ll finish it in December and then I’ll have about 36 dates around the world to show my thanks and appreciation to the WWE audience around the world. So that’s what I’m doing in 2025.”

So there you have it, folks.

John Cena will appear on a total of 36 dates worldwide. These will of course be determined over the course of the months, but you can expect all four of the major premium live events to be included (Royal Rumble 2025, Wrestlemania 41, Summerslam 2025 and Survivor Series 2025).

And while all that is sorted out and he works to balance his WWE schedule with his filming commitments in Hollywood, the wrestling legend and star of “The Peacemaker” is waiting to find out who he will face first.

It could be pretty much anyone, although not everyone is worth watching.
