Are you eagerly awaiting the final part of BLUE BLOODS season 14? Here’s everything you need to know.

BLUE BLOODS Season 14 Part 2 premieres Friday, October 18 at 10/9c on CBS, with episodes available to stream on Paramount+ the next day. The second part of the fourteenth season includes eight episodes, with all of the main cast returning.

So what can fans of the series expect from the final episodes?

“We’ve always tried to strip away another layer of characters,” showrunner Kevin Wade told TV Insider, adding that the procedural nature of the show means “the only changes we can make are the characters and their actual fears.”

He continued, “I try to write the best stories to pit two or more Reagans against each other and find a solution at the end. And hopefully in the solution they reveal something new about themselves.”

The stars of BLUE BLOODS react just as emotionally as the fans to the end of the show.

“Last day of BLUE BLOODS,” star Donnie Wahlberg wrote in an Instagram post. “I’m not sure I have the words to describe how I feel today or what the last 14 years of this special BLUE BLOODS journey have been like, but I do know how incredibly grateful I am for every moment of it.”

He continued, “Thank you to the cast, crew, guest stars, every extra, writer, producer and member of every single department. Thank you to the people of New York, in every neighborhood and borough, for always showing us your love. Thank you to the NYPD for your support and sacrifice, I hope we made you proud. And finally, to my fans and the fans of this show. We can’t make it 14 days (let alone 14 years) without you! Your love and support for this show has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Thank you.”

BLUE BLOODS may be coming to an end, but there are rumors of a possible spin-off.

During Paramount Global’s shareholder meeting earlier this year, Brian Robbins, co-CEO of Paramount, said: “We are building the billion-dollar brands of tomorrow. On television, we have new franchise extensions coming up for DEXTER, BILLIONS and BLUE BLOODS.”

Movieguide® previously reported on the future of BLUE BLOOD:

BLUE BLOODS actor Donnie Wahlberg believes the series will continue – or at least in a new version.

“We filmed the last season of BLUE BLOODS and it will be airing in October. Maybe something will come after that. I don’t know anything official yet, but there are a few things in the works. So maybe something great will happen,” said Walhberg. said in a recent video, adding, “You know I’m definitely going to do things after BLUE BLOODS.”

Filming for BLUE BLOODS was completed in July. The “obviously final” episodes will air on Fridays from October to December.

Screen Rant rated that a spin-off of the series could be very successful, but would have to maintain the “focus on family values” of the predecessor, as this is a major reason for the series’ popularity. Several episodes of BLUE BLOODS have received Movieguide® Teddy Bear Awards® for such values.
