France’s 2024 European Championship star still without a club after Juventus exit – Inter Milan and AC Milan slam the door in his face

Midfielder Adrien Rabiot has not found a club since his contract with Juventus expired, as Inter Milan and AC Milan have closed the door in his face.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews.

They underline the Frenchman’s difficulties in finding a new team after leaving Juventus.

This summer, Rabiot left Juventus after five years in Turin.

The Frenchman moved from Paris Saint-Germain to the Bianconeri on a free transfer in 2019. And that is how he left the club.

Already last summer there were indications that Rabiot could leave Juventus.

The Frenchman’s contract expired. However, he agreed to an extension with the Bianconeri and remained at the club.

However, it was only a one-year extension, so the matter was simply postponed until this summer.

Rabiot’s contract with Juventus expired at the end of June. And despite talks about a new contract, no agreement was reached.

Adrien Rabiot still without a club – Inter and AC Milan rejected

Rabiot’s summer was partly filled with the European Championship with France, where he helped Les Bleus reach the semi-finals.

But the 29-year-old is also trying to sort out his future at club level.

According to the Gazzetta, Rabiot was offered to both Inter and Milan.

With the Nerazzurri you always get the feeling that they consider every big possibility of a free transfer.

But Inter ultimately turned down the opportunity to sign Rabiot. The Nerazzurri’s midfield is well-staffed.

Therefore, Inter Milan has no interest in the French international.

The same applies to Inter’s city rivals Milan.

Currently, reports the Gazzetta, Rabiot’s search for a new club is focused on the Premier League.

The Frenchman is considering Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea as possible next destinations.

Meanwhile, the Turkish top club Galatasaray is also interested in Rabiot.

The 29-year-old would then be considering a move to Atletico Madrid. They had previously rejected him, but the delayed deal with Conor Gallagher could open the door again.
