A new kind of “Holy Grail” for diabetes
This smart insulin, according to The Sun’s report, is as close to curing type 1 diabetes as any other therapy and is very useful and cost-effective as the multiple use of insulin is somehow reduced when using this smart insulin. This insulin changes its nature according to the human body’s requirement and thus one does not need to inject insulin 10 times a day. According to reports, a minimum dose would be enough for this smart insulin to work efficiently throughout the day.

Smart insulin can reduce health impacts
The continuous administration of insulin and the rising and falling of blood sugar levels often lead to serious health problems, including eye damage and heart disease. Therefore, this smart insulin could well be a good solution to combat such serious health problems that can be potentially life-threatening in the long run.
The catch, however, is that once the effect of the dose wears off and it has done its job for the day, the drug can no longer help with blood sugar spikes in the body and therefore another insulin injection would then be necessary.
