The heated live argument between MSNBC’s Ari Melber and Donald Trump’s campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski did not end with Wednesday’s post: Today, Lewandowski tweeted a video suggesting that he was actually right about his accusation, which Melber vehemently denied, that the MSNBC host used the word “spectacle” in reference to Trump’s ear bandage.
On Wednesday The Beat with Ari MelberLewandowski dodged Melber’s questions about his testimony during the House Judiciary Committee hearing that he made false claims to the media about his involvement on Trump’s behalf during the Mueller investigation. Instead of addressing that question, Lewandowski repeatedly accused Melber of falsely claiming that Trump’s association was used by Trump as a “spectacle.”
After a long back and forth, Melber responded to Lewandowski’s accusation, stating that Fox News’ “spectacle” quote had been misrepresented and that Lewandowski had obtained his false information from the Internet.

“You have a misquote,” Melber said sternly. “And if you – I have to tell you this – continue to falsely repeat that I said that, you may be slandered because I did not say that. But I understand that you work with the Internet, which contains a lot of false information.”
Today, Lewandowski struck again, this time posting a message on X that referred to a Breitbart article with a clip of Melber after the Just “Poster” quote saying, “That’s fair. A poster for delegates to fill out, an image for political mobilization, a spectacle for this candidate who, by his own admission, we know is obsessed with all kinds of spectacles.”
In his X-post, which linked to Breitbart, Lewandowski wrote: “We will continue to expose the fake news – especially MSNBC – and hold them accountable for their lies and false attacks on President @realDonaldTrump. And when they threaten us with defamation, we will follow up with FACTS.”
