JD Vance in Arizona: Vice presidential candidate attacks Harris over border record
Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance attacked Kamala Harris’ border policy during a rally at Arizona Christian University in Glendale.
Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance will return to Arizona on Sept. 4 to campaign in the Phoenix area, Turning Point Action announced Wednesday.
The event is scheduled to take place at Generation Church near Ellsworth Road and Southern Avenue in Mesa. Vance will be accompanied by Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point.
Registration for the event is required online and tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Terms and conditions will be sent to participants the day before the event, according to Turning Point.
Doors for the September 4 event will open at 3 p.m. before the speaker delivers his address at 5 p.m. Parking is limited and attendees are asked to leave their belongings at home. No bags or drinks are permitted.
Vance, a U.S. senator from Ohio, has visited Arizona several times since becoming Trump’s vice president, including in Glendale in late July and at the southern border on August 1.
