There is at least one inZOI function that The Sims 4 simply doesn’t have, and fans are already obsessed with it: a functional “3D printing” tool that lets players recreate virtually any real-world object in the game.
As a dedicated fan of all new Games like The Sims 4I have an eye on PUBG Developer Krafton’s hyper-realistic life simulation inZOI since its first launch in 2023. The latest Character Editor Demo has only increased my interest and inZOI increases the immersion not only through the Unreal Engine 5 graphics.
The game includes a unique AI-powered tool that resembles a virtual 3D printer. Players upload an image of a real-world item or any transparent object of their choice and get the exact same in the game. As highlighted by IGNthe feature works pretty smoothly as long as the photo uploaded by fans clearly shows the item they want. It should then reappear in the life sim, ready to be placed. This also applies to textures – it’s like The Sims 3’s palette tool, only better.

Enthusiastic fans are now discussing how flexible the tool is and how much creativity it allows in the game. A Reddit thread highlights this, with the poster exclaiming that his “jaw dropped” when he learned about inZOI’s AI printer. Commenters express a similar sentiment, with one arguing that “now we can actually recreate our homes in the game,” and I can’t wait to do this myself.
Imagine uploading every single one of your plushies into the game. That’s what I’m going to do, anyway. Or maybe, like one fan, you’ll add “an army of my cats” to your home. It’ll take some finessing and trickery, but the possibilities are probably truly endless with inZOI’s AI tool, even more so than with any other Sims 4 Mods I’ve used it in the past when playing EA’s own cult sim – and that’s one of the main reasons why I can’t wait for Krafton’s new game to launch later this year.
