Island resident Lainie Sevante Wulkan has co-authored a new bestseller with her, “Well-being with high vibration”, According to her, the song seemingly reached number one overnight in several countries.

“There are only six categories you can apply for on Amazon, and we came first in all six,” Said Wulkan.

However, mastering categories such as wellness, health and healing, and holistic medicine is not the only thing Wulkan does. She also wrote a children’s book, “Finn’s big step.” The inspiration to write the children’s book came to her years ago, she said, literally in the middle of the night, as Wulkan never intended to be an author. She did indeed become an author, as all eight of her books became bestsellers.

“I come from the world of food, wellness and nutrition and I wrote a book called ‘Food Healing Oracle Deck’ where I interpreted food as a messenger. It took off – I’m literally in 35 countries now and ship all over the world once a year.” Said Wulkan.

Many of the foods Wulkan writes about are found on Pine Island, such as soursop and moringa, she said. She talked about why some of them are considered top foods and backed up the statement with several National Institute of Health studies on how these foods are used for people with certain conditions. She created a smoothie recipe book based on the teachings of the Food Healing Oracle Deck and shows people how to make a smoothie with intention, she said.

“People make affirmations and you can literally feel that energy when you drink something with intention. So I developed recipes that reflect that.” Said Wulkan.

One idea Wulkan brings up is “intuitive food therapy,” which she says is really about trusting your gut. She explained this using the example of a person who goes to the grocery store and has a craving for butternut squash. She believes there is an inherent reason for the craving and that this person’s body may need a component in the butternut squash.

“Maybe what you are craving contains a vitamin or mineral that you need – your body always knows what you need, that’s why I teach people to be intuitive,” Said Wulkan.

The book “Well-being with high vibration”, She said, originally called “High vibration food.” She said that when she brought all the writers together, she realized it was about more than just food.

“I realized that it’s not just about how we feed our bodies – it’s not just about what we eat. It’s about how we feed our minds and how we feed our souls. Staying healthy depends on how we stay nourished on all levels.” Said Wulkan.

She said she was careful to bring in writers who could help her potential readers tune in, because they might be healing or grieving. They might just need to refocus their thoughts on the positive, she said. Her energy was focused on helping readers nourish their souls by tuning in with prayer or meditation.

“I realized that nutrition works on all levels, not just what we put in our mouths. So the 25 authors were a combination of all the ways to nourish your body temple through proper nutrition. That’s when I changed the title to High Vibrational Wellness,” Wulkan said she sees this book as a recipe for life.

“Everyone has intuition. Trust your gut feeling.” Said Wulkan.
