Paige Spiranac will cause a stir as she explains how she feels ahead of her return to golf

Popular golf social media personality Paige Spiranac is set to make a comeback to competitive golf after an eight-year hiatus.

The PGA Tour has announced that ahead of the Tour Championship, the best golf content creators will compete in the Creator Classic, with Spiranac being one of the most popular in the world.

This nine-hole competition, scheduled for August 28, will see 16 of golf’s most successful and experienced creators compete for the inaugural Creator Classic title. The competition will be divided into four groups of four players each, with each competitor playing individually in stroke play.

The tournament begins on the 10th hole of the newly remodeled East Lake Golf Club, with each golfer playing holes 10 through 17. The four players with the lowest scores then compete in a one-hole playoff.

In the event of a tie, a chip-off will be held on hole 17 to determine placings. Those closest to the hole will advance to the final playoff hole.

The 31-year-old former professional player recently shared her thoughts when she was announced as one of 16 contenders for the title, giving her fans an honest insight into her mindset as she prepares to return to competitive golf after nearly a decade.

“It’s Creator Classic week!” she began her post on X. “Although I’m nervous about playing stroke play again (it’s been 8 years), I’m excited for this amazing opportunity! The goal is to have fun.”

Golf sensation Paige Spiranac has opened up about her expectations for the upcoming Creator Classic, where she will pit her skills against golf’s top content creators. Despite not competing in a while, she humorously admitted she’s keeping her hopes in check.

“I might win the most lost golf balls but that’s about it lol,” she joked on X, also mentioning that she’s preparing to finish last. Still, Spiranac expressed her excitement on Instagram to compete with the best in the business, even if she’s considered an underdog.

“I’m so excited to be playing!” she said, according to Essentially Sports. “It’s very soon. I’m just trying to get some repetitions on the golf course. The pressure is off because the odds are high and I’m the favorite for the last place.”

“It can only go up from here. Now I can just go out there and have fun. I’m nervous and I don’t know how I’m going to do. But the game feels OK.”

Even though the golf star is nervous about her performance, she has the support of millions of fans on social media. On YouTube, Spiranac has around 426,000 subscribers, the lowest number of any of her accounts. On Instagram, she has four million followers and on TikTok, 1.6 million. In total, the 31-year-old has over six million followers across her social media platforms, which shows how much support she will receive throughout the competition.

Paige Spiranac has ruled out creating content for OnlyFans despite her success with golf-related content. She stresses, “But for me and the way I wanted to grow my business, I knew that just wasn’t the right plan for me,” adding, “And I’m more than happy to focus on the sexy, fun, sassy side, but I never wanted my content to be something that my family couldn’t see.”
