Barcelona picked up their third win in three games in the 2024/25 La Liga as they beat Rayo Vallecano 2-1 away at the Estadio de Vallecas last night.
Having failed to win in their three visits to this stadium before last night, Hansi Flick’s Barça now managed the task of overcoming a deficit and going home with three points.
The performance on this evening did not live up to expectations, especially in the first third, but in the end the Catalans did their job in a place that has repeatedly caused them difficulties in recent seasons.
Lamine Yamal attacks critics
Despite the decisive victory, there were some fans who were not entirely satisfied with the Barcelona team’s performance last night.
One of these “critics” used TikTok to denigrate the team’s performance and gave the players terrible ratings after the game against Vallecano.
Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal took offense at the statements and commented on the video, asking the user to delete his account.
“You’d better delete the account,” Yamal commented on the video along with three laughing emojis.
Good start to the season
After his terrific performance at UEFA Euro 2024, Lamine Yamal has made a brilliant start to the 2024/25 season under Hansi Flick.
Although he is only 17 years old, he is already an undisputed starter. La Masia Gem has already scored one goal and provided two assists in three La Liga games and has emerged as one of Barcelona’s best players in the early stages of the season.
