Gameplay Galaxy, the creators of the blockbuster Trial Xtreme series, have announced the successful extension of their recent seed funding round. The extension provides additional capital of $11 million, bringing the total funding raised to $24 million.
This investment, led by Blockchain Capital and Merit Circle, underscores the growing confidence in Gameplay Galaxy’s innovative approach to Web3 gaming and its potential to disrupt the market. Trial Xtreme Freedom is positioned to lead the transition from free-to-play (F2P) to widespread Web3 adoption by introducing new player-centric usage models for digital properties.
One particular feature that is expected to make waves is track ownership, which allows track owners to host their own tournaments and special events. Players can also craft, upgrade and own their motorcycles and earn tokens through their gameplay. These Web3 features will open up a new level of player ownership on top of top-notch gameplay.
The funds will be used strategically to accelerate product development, expand the world-class team and enhance go-to-market strategies.
