Adam Sandler video takes the internet by storm – “Most people are making fun of it”

A video of Adam Sandler talking about his fashion choices has gone viral on the internet and people are praising him for his down-to-earth nature.

Since being uploaded to TikTok, the video has been viewed over 5 million times, and after being shared on X (formerly Twitter), it has been viewed over 11 million times.

Newsweek contacted a spokesperson for Sandler via email on Tuesday for comment.

In the video, the TikTok interviewer asks Sandler if he “always has that drip.” “Drip” is a slang term that describes something that is cool, stylish, or fashionable.

“It just happens, I didn’t really think about it. There’s, uh, sneakers, there’s some silly shorts, I put this on to cover this,” he said, gesturing to his jacket and stomach before pointing to his turtleneck, “and then I have this to cover up even more.”

Sandler then told the interviewer that he “doesn’t think much” about his fashion choices.

“Whatever is in the closet, I grab it. I think I have a bunch of the same socks, even underwear is kind of similar. I grab it, I don’t think much about it. Most people in my family make fun of me, but I keep moving,” he explained.

The TikToker also asked the actor about the five fashion items he couldn’t live without, to which Sandler replied, “Sometimes my wife buys me nice socks that I put on. You know, I put them on my kids and stuff. Sneakers that fit. Yeah, it doesn’t matter if they’re dirty or not, as long as they fit and don’t hurt.”

“These shorts are a little shorter than usual… I don’t know what the hell they are. Stupid shirts. I put the shit on,” he said of his windbreaker, “because I think I bought it about five years ago and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I had completely forgotten about that thing.'”

The video was incredibly well received online, with many people praising Sandler for his performance.

“Adam Sandler has always been himself and that’s so beautiful,” one person wrote on TikTok.
