The Book Exchange of Marin held an open house for its newly remodeled and renovated facility on Aug. 18. The event, held at the facility at 852 Del Ganado Road in San Rafael, was attended by 60 people, including IJ columnist Dick Spotswood of Mill Valley; Carolyn Beazley, co-director of the Book Exchange of Marin of San Anselmo; and Diane Brandell, co-director of the Book Exchange of Marin, Bruce Burtch, San Rafael City Councilwoman Rachel Kertz, Allison Lewis and her daughter Anna, and Marin County Councilwoman Mary Sackett, all of San Rafael.
