Only 70 days left until the 2024 US presidential election. The candidates – Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump – are doing everything they can to win the election. But internet comedian Randy Rainbow is not impressed by the tactics of Trump’s controversial running mate JD Vance.
In his latest parody video, Rainbow attacks the vice presidential candidate head-on, beginning the clip with a fake interview with clips from Vance. Rainbow calls the former president’s running mate “a former Trump supporter turned Trump creep, a misogynistic best-selling author and worst vice presidential candidate ever, a certifiable crank and cat-less child-person,” and spends his fake interview with Vance mocking the politician’s “narrow-minded, often hypocritical” comments about traditional family values.
Rainbow then starts his latest song parody entitled “JD, JD… (Married Lady)”. Based on “Sadie, Sadie” from the 1964 Broadway hit Funny girlRainbow mocks the Ohio senator for his repeated public gaffes and his past comments about Trump. “Oh, how crazy that Ohio man is/ He’s really changed his ways since the beginning,” he sang. “It seems like it was just last night/ That he called Donald ‘Hitler light.'”
Sporting a Vance-shaped beard, Rainbow continues to denounce Vance’s growing unpopularity with voters, while reminding the controversial vice presidential candidate that “Donald likes his vice presidents well-endowed,” referring to reports that Trump allegedly supported chants of rioters calling to “hang Mike Pence” on January 6, 2021.
At the end of his number, Rainbow makes his point more than clear regarding Vance’s political changes since joining Trump’s campaign: “Oh, he’s always up and down, girl, sit down and spin. How long until they trade him?”
