Online applications for the 2024 Kanopolis Lake annual waterfowl permits are now available.

The permit application is now available online to complete and submit. Applicants will be entered into a random lottery drawing for 12 waterfowl blind sites on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property at Kanopolis Lake.

The application deadline is Friday, September 6th.

Participants must be at least 16 years old. Only one member per household can submit an application.

Anyone who receives a permit is allowed to set up a shelter in a designated area along the shoreline of Kanopolis Lake for more than 24 hours.

Permit holders have until February 16, 2025 to hunt and must remove their blinds by February 23, 2025.

Due to fluctuating lake levels, hide locations and conditions may change during the waterfowl season.

Submit applications by the deadline to [email protected] or mail them to the Kanopolis Lake Project Office, 105 Riverside Drive, Marquette, KS 67464.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Kanopolis Lake Project Office at 816-389-3822.
