How and when can you watch the 2024 US Open tennis tournament?

The 2024 US Open will take place from August 26, 2024 to September 8, 2024. The matches will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN and on Sling TV and the platforms listed below.

How and when to watch the 2024 US Open without cable

Although many cable packages include ABC and ESPN, it is easy to watch the US Open if ESPN and ABC are not in your Cable TV subscriptionor if you don’t have cable at all. Your best options for watching are below. (For streaming options, a Internet provider.)

Sling TV: The Most Affordable Way to Stream the US Open and Sports This Fall

If you don’t have cable TV with ABC and ESPN, one of the most cost-effective ways to stream the US Open and sporting events this fall is a Sling TV subscription. We recommend upgrading your coverage to the Orange + Blue with Sports Extra plan to get access to all U.S. Open games, as well as NFL and college football games broadcast on the network (minus those broadcast on CBS).

The Orange + Blue plan regularly costs $60 per month, but the streamer is currently running a promotion with $25 off your first month, so you’ll only pay $35. The Orange + Blue plan with Sports Extra costs $50 for your first month and $75 per month after that. The Sports Extra add-on includes 18 channels, including Tennis Channel, NFL Redzone, ESPNU, SEC Network, Big 10 Network, and ACC Network, making it ideal for pro and college football fans.

The streamer is also currently offering big savings on four months of the Orange + Blue tier as well as the Sports Extra plan if you pay for the Sling TV Season Pass up front. The plan costs $219, down from $300.

Note: Since Sling TV does not carry CBS, Sling subscribers will want to add Paramount+ to their package. (Paramount+ and CBS Essentials are both subsidiaries of Paramount Global.)

Top features of the Sling TV Orange + Blue plan:

  • Sling TV is our first choice for streaming major sporting events such as NASCAR.
  • A total of 52 channels are available to watch, including local partner channels ESPN, NBC, Fox and ABC (where available).
