By the way, this product is specifically designed for drains clogged with hair! If you’re looking for another drain cleaner, check this one out!
Even though I had never read a review of this product, I used it and am now angry that I didn’t take a before and after photo. My shower drain, which was filled with previous tenants’ hair, soap scum, and more nasty gunk from before I moved in five months ago, is now 98% clear and looks like a completely new drain. The hair that is still there is stuck to my handy drain cover, so getting rid of it is no problem. This was the easiest drain product I have ever used and I didn’t even have to see at the worst that’s lurking down there. All I had to do was pour out the whole bottle (I poured out most of it, but I was skeptical so I saved some just in case), let it sit for 15 minutes, then pour hot water down the drain. To do this, I boiled water in my teapot and poured it down the drain and it’s all gone! I could cry. This is my new favorite drain product from now on – so if your drain is gross and you don’t want to deal with it, definitely grab a bottle of this!
Promising review: “Our drain was completely clogged with hair and soap scum! Three women, a golden retriever, and a goldendoodle! So when I say it’s totally clogged, I mean it’s SUPER CLOGGED. No water was draining. I tried pulling hair out with one of those sticks you throw down the drain, but I only got a few hairs out. I put a big pot of water on the stove, but didn’t bring it to a boil. I dumped the whole pot of water in and BAM, it took a second for the water to drain out of the tub. Honestly, I thought I was going to have to call a plumber, I was so shocked. I turned the water on and filled the tub just to see what happened and it still drained perfectly! We are now about a month later and she is still draining like a champ! So, I would recommend this product a million times over, 10/10!” —Ian
