Luciana Oliveira and her husband Gilberto Nunes have fulfilled their dream and now own Bagel Time & Bakery Cafe, a thriving restaurant in Margate that serves breakfast and lunch.
They bought the existing Bagel time earlier this year and have worked hard to make it a successful restaurant. Luciana, from Brazil, grew up in the restaurant industry and has extensive experience.
“My family ran restaurants in Brazil and when I was a child I helped my mother cook. My mother loved to cook and I learned from her. I always enjoyed baking,” she said.
Luciana said a bagel sandwich with bacon, eggs and cheese is the most popular offering. Bagel Time also offers a variety of sandwiches and omelets, as well as a comfortable atmosphere for breakfast or lunch.
They are planning a grand opening celebration on Thursday, August 29th at 12:00 p.m.
Bagel Time & Bakery is open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is located in the Town Shoppes of Margate, 2470 North State Road 7.
