An amateur boxer has brought shame to his sport when he delivered a sneaky punch to his opponent after being knocked out.
The shocking clip went viral in 2022 when the two young fighters faced off in a highly controversial junior bout in the 54 kg weight limit.

The boxer in blue was able to win the fight and was awarded victory on points by the judges.
The referee raised his arm and he fell to his knees in celebration.
Meanwhile, the defeated boxer in red was visibly anything but happy.
Nevertheless, he did not overreact or throw his toys out of the stroller at first.
At the beginning, both boxers showed sportsmanship by shaking hands with their opponents’ trainers.
They touched fists and it seemed as if there was respect between them.
The defeated boxer tried to leave the ring, but was prevented from doing so by his trainers.
They reminded him that he still had to exchange medals with his opponent.
The victorious boxer in blue received a medal from the referee and placed it around the neck of his defeated opponent in red.
He tapped him on the shoulder.

Then, amazingly, the defeated boxer in red placed a medal around the winner’s neck and delivered a fatal blow with a sneaky left hook.
The boxer in blue did not manage to raise his hands in time and he was hit right in the face.
Nevertheless, he stood his ground and admirably did not strike back.
The boxer in red left the ring quickly and in disgrace.
Fortunately, there have been no such scenes in amateur boxing since then.
Instead, the sport has been plagued by numerous other controversies and is now facing exclusion from the Olympic Games as a result.
