There is a simple reason why you will not find Jenna Ortega on X/Twitter… AI-generated sexual images of her forced her to leave the social media platform and made her despise the technology.
Jenna, now 21, says the visual attack began years ago when she was a teenager and she was encouraged to use Twitter to increase her exposure as an actress – but the whole thing immediately turned into a nightmare.
She told The interview Podcast: “I hate AI. Did I enjoy opening a Twitter account at 14 because I was supposed to and seeing dirty, edited content of myself as a child? No. It’s terrifying. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the “Beetlejuice” star says she opened her first DM when she was just 12, and it was “an unsolicited photo of a man’s genitals, and that was just the beginning of what was to come.”

Donald Trump publishes fake AI photos of Taylor Swift supporting him as presidential candidate
Jenna’s complaint about artificial intelligence is becoming more frequent – at the beginning of the year Taylor Swift had to deal with a flood of pornographic AI-generated images of herself. She finally scrubbed them off, X.
And it wasn’t exactly NSFW, but last week Donald Trump reposted new AI footage of Taylor, making it appear as if she was supporting his presidential campaign.
Jenna says she was inundated with inappropriate images every time she tweeted, and one morning she woke up “and thought, oh, I don’t need this anymore. So I dropped it.”
She hasn’t looked back – she’s still off the platform, and that’s probably a very good thing. It’s only gotten worse.
