One Peace Books confirmed to ANN on Monday that the first volume of Akio Nanae‘s manga adaptation of the Hero without class: Who needs skills anyway?! (Mushoku no Eiyū: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakattan da ga) light novel series on September 17th.
One Peace Books describes the story of the manga:
In a world where everyone is given a class and abilities at the age of ten, and such revelations have a huge impact on a person’s life, Arel, the son of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, learns that he has… no class at all!
Without class and without skills, Arel has nothing but hard work left. So he begins training, using wits and cunning to become a completely new type of hero!
Akio Nanae The manga adaptation started in Strange Earth Star in November 2018. The eighth volume of the manga was delivered on June 12th.
Shichio Kuzu‘s light novel series with illustrations by Yumehito Ueda debuted in November 2017 on the website Shōsetsu-ka ni Narou (“Let’s Be Novelists”). Earth Star Entertainment began publishing novels in July 2018. The fourth volume was published in June 2019.
The light novel series inspires an anime adaptation.
