The truth is out there … and this week on Shadow of Passionit is about to destroy the relationship between Adam and Sally. “What we are about to face is bad,” admits his actor Mark Grossman. “Chelsea is suffering from the burden of guilt that she has felt since they slept together. And of course Adam understands why she wants to tell the truth. But if it were up to him, they would just bury it and never talk about it again.”
But that seems incredibly unlikely, especially now that Chelsea has let Billy in on the truth. And in typical Billy fashion, he’s determined to take the blindfold off Sally, too. It’s not that Billy has any particular desire to hurt Sally, but Adam? Well, that’s another story.

“In typical Adam fashion, he lies to the bitter end, until the beams bend,” sighs Grossman. “But Billy is relentless. Adam is cornered and has no way out.”
If the truth comes out, will that mean the end of Sally and Adam? “I’d like to think it won’t be that way,” he admits. “I love them together. And they’ve been through so much, especially the heartbreak of losing their daughter Ava. But they’re so good together. Sure, they can be schemers and each of them has bad habits sometimes. But that’s part of what keeps them together.”

However, he adds: “When you cheat on someone, it’s hard to move on from that. But maybe Sally would be willing to look past that, given what was going on with Chelsea and Adam. There was all that trauma with her son, and then alcohol was involved. So if the truth comes out, maybe Sally can find a way to forgive him.”
In addition, Adam is worried about how a major emotional upheaval in their lives might affect Connor. “The best thing for this child is a happy family,” Grossman believes. “That’s the most important thing for Adam right now.”

Billy, however, cares about nothing and no one except his own pain… and that pain he is willing to inflict on Adam through Sally. “Billy is just relentless,” Grossman teases of the scenes that begin the week. “He basically says, ‘Either you tell her or I do!’ It goes pretty much downhill from there…”
