Drake shares 3 new tracks on his Finsta account

Late Friday night (August 23), Canadian rap superstar Drake unveiled three full tracks on his finsta page “plottttwistttttt.” Sharing three distinct vibes, he shared “Circadian Rhythm,” “No Face” featuring Playboi Carti, and the long-awaited final version of “SOD.”

“SOD” was previously teased by Lil Yachty via Kai Cenat’s live stream. The first record featured a guest appearance from the Atlanta rapper. Despite this, it was thought that it would never be officially released due to popular social media user Mr. HotSpot being sampled on the record. He later stated that he would release the track if Drake and Lil Yachty were willing to create a cleaner version of the song that children could enjoy in the presence of their parents without getting in trouble.

“Circadian Rhythm” is a smooth melodic hit with a strong bassline and lyrics that describe a relationship gone wrong between two partners. Drake is known for his ability to compose tracks that show his relatability. On the track, he raps, “I gotta get this shit out the crib, I think it’s bad luck.” Due to the restrictions placed on his Instagram page, there are no comments, but still plenty of engagement on his three different song posts.

The final track, “No Face,” is a fiery, upbeat hit that features bars that people believe are aimed at Kendrick Lamar. In the song, he claimed, “This the sh*t that my daddy raised me on / N**gas got fueled by the features that I skated on / I gotta know, I gotta know / How you get fueled by the n**ga that you hate? / Numbers untouchable, they got the data wrong / This is the moment I know they been praying for.”

Later in the song, he exclaimed, “Quick, switch that shit out and I’m coming back reloaded / I’m just so happy that the n**gas that were jealous and kept that shit to themselves finally got to show it / I’m over the moon, yeah, see you guys soon.” It’s no secret that Drake has a hot potato for a lot of people after his legendary rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. In several diss tracks, he has targeted ASAP Rocky, Rihanna, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, J. Cole, and countless others.

Even in the song, Drake mentioned that the fight felt like 20 against 1. Fans had mixed reactions to the new tracks, with one fan declaring on Twitter: “DRIZZY SLIDE Y’ALL HEAR THIS CRAP?!?!” Another fan opined: “Drake crashing this stuff ain’t so bad no more. Baiting him won’t work. Bring out the mixtape!!!”

As of now, the three songs have not been uploaded to DSPs. The last time he shared three complete songs on his finsta account, they were only uploaded to DSPs the next day.
