HTC has launched Viverse Create, a no-code platform designed to facilitate the creation of virtual worlds within its Viverse metaverse. This platform allows users to create and share immersive multiplayer environments without the need for any coding knowledge. Viverse Create supports cross-platform functionality, allowing creations to be accessed from various devices, including VR headsets, mobile phones, PCs and Macs. The platform is integrated with the Sketchfab library, gives users access to millions of free 3D models and supports the VROID VRM format for importing existing models.
Viverse Create offers two main methods for creating virtual worlds. The first method uses a no-code tool available on the Viverse Create website that allows users to create virtual environments directly in their web browsers. The second method uses PlayCanvas, an advanced game engine-style tool that can be used with or without code to create more interactive experiences. This tool also supports seamless deployment to Viverse. HTC’s recent introduction of Polygon Streaming complements Viverse Create by enabling the integration of high-fidelity, interactive 3D models into workflows across devices.
