Germany Europa Park will launch a new video game inspired by its mascots Ed and Edda, as well as a new family attraction and a major motion picture.
In collaboration with video game developer Tivola, the new kart racing game is based on the 2025 movie. European Grand Prixa co-production between the entertainment company Mack Magic and Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany.
The game with the title Ed & Edda: Grand Prix – Racing Championsbrings Ed & Edda for the first time in video game format. Players drive over 12 routes in sights European Locations.

You can unleash unique driving abilities, utilize power-ups, customize vehicles, and choose from eight familiar characters, including Ed and Edda.

“This makes the first feature film with the popular Europa-Park mascots Ed & Edda more than just a film: Together with the new associated family attraction in 2025 at Europa-Park, the video game Ed & Edda: Grand Prix – Racing Champions and many other licensed products, it is the beginning of a unique transmedia project.
“We are convinced that with our transmedia strategy we will build a long-term sustainable brand with content around our characters.”
Ed & Edda: Grand Prix – Racing Champions will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam.
Europa-Park was founded in 1975 by Roland Mack and his father Franz. With over six million guests per year, it has become one of the most visited tourist destinations in Germany.
In July, Europa-Park opened its Attraction Haunted Castle after a complete redesign and renovation.
