Federal Realty Investment Trust signed a 23,680-square-foot lease with Couchbase in the new One Santana West office building on Santana Row in San Jose. Couchbase, whose cloud database platform is used by more than 30% of Assets 100 to power modern applications, expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
Couchbase is one of the anchor tenants of One Santana West, along with PWC and Acrisure, at the corner of Winchester Boulevard and Olin Avenue, near Interstate 280. The new tenant’s space on the ground floor of One Santana West is next to a fitness center, a golf simulator and a café.
“We’re excited to be part of Santana Row’s walkable, neighborhood-like community, in a modern office space that provides employees with an efficient and attractive place to work,” said Fidelma Butler, Chief People Officer at Couchbase. “This prime location captures the inflection point we’re at as a company, and we look forward to continuing our growth trajectory in our new headquarters.”
Newmark is the leasing agent for the project. One Santana West was designed by Studios Architecture and built by general contractor Devcon Construction.
