US hard rockers SteelCity have released a video for “I Ain’t Dreamin’ ‘Bout You”, the new single from their upcoming studio album Reverence, out September 20th via Frontiers Music Srl. Watch the clip below and pre-order the album here.

Bassist Jason Cornwell comments on the new single: “With its soaring melodies and harmonies, the song evokes the passion of the ultimate arena rock song, making it a true heavy rock journey for the ages!”

Guitarist Mike Floros adds, “It’s clear from the first song that this song is going to be the infectious little earworm it’s meant to be. There’s a reason it opens the album. For true fans of melodic hard rock, the song has a gang-style sing-along chorus, melodically driven leads and catchy lyrics that are sure to keep this little ditty on repeat! This is a tune that will definitely remind people of some of the great, anthemic KISS songs from the mid-80s.”

SteelCity was originally started as a solo project by founding member, main songwriter and guitarist Mike Floros and developed into the band it is today. Their influences include melodic and hard rock heavyweights such as KISS, Europe and Winger. The name SteelCity is derived from the hard-working, blue-collar town of Youngstown in Midwest Ohio.

By assembling the most talented and skilled rock musicians available, Mike formed a band that became a celebrated force in the melodic hard rock underground. Enter Roy Cathey, lead singer extraordinaire. A member of early 90’s sensation Cold Sweat, his herculean voice was appreciated by audiences around the world.

The bass section is handled by Jason Cornwell, an experienced studio and touring musician. “The Boston Bassman” has already shared the stage with greats such as Eric Martin. The talented drummer Anthony White, also known from Cold Sweat, completes the rhythm section.

The group is rounded off by Tony Stahl, whose keyboards give SteelCity’s songs structure and depth, completing their sound.
