  • Triten Real Estate Partners commissioned Carter Bechtol as a partner and principal of Triten Residential. In his new role, Bechtol will be tasked with overseeing Triten’s multifamily properties, including sourcing developments and acquisitions, conceptual planning, and working with investors and lenders. With more than 28 years of industry experience, Bechtol has led the development of more than 8,000 units for suburban, mid-rise, and high-rise projects at a cost of over $1.8 billion in Texas, California, Florida, North Carolina, and Missouri.
  • Cushman & Wakefield announced that Meredith Muecke Howard has joined the company as a principal based in San Antonio. Howard has 14 years of experience in various areas of the real estate business – including marketing, business development, project development services and industrial leasing – and will look to drive growth and expand the agency leasing and tenant representation business.
  • Porter Law Firm added Bill Barfield to its ranks of managing partners. Bill, formerly of the Freeman Law Firm, specializes in construction defects, product liability, personal injury, civil liability and other related matters.
  • Hoar Construction has announced the completion of the West Bed Tower at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas. As general contractor, Hoar has begun construction on the project in early 2023. The seven-story, 13,000-square-foot addition will enable the healthcare provider to serve a wider range of patients throughout the Concho Valley.
  • CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corporation, announced that it has acquired a controlling interest in the 337-room AAA Four Diamond Houston City Place Marriott. The purchase of the entire 50 percent interest held by joint venture partner Affinius Capital brings Coventry Development Corporation’s ownership interest to 95 percent.
