Ash of Gods: The Way is coming to Google Play and anyone who wants to can join the closed beta test. Players can immerse themselves in this mix of tactical turn-based combat and deck-building card game elements on both PC and mobile. The game has already won awards for Best Graphics at the Games Gathering Conference and Best PC Game at the Indie Cup, and has received many positive reviews from players.
The mobile version of Ash of Gods: The Way retains all the advantages of a PC game: a twisted story, stunning graphics and a fantastic soundtrack, but the interface is undergoing a major overhaul. The updated interface for battles and dialogues makes the game comfortable even on small mobile screens. Which path will be yours?
Set in the battle-hardened world of the tactical turn-based card game Ash of Gods: The Way, players build decks of warriors, gear, and spells from four different factions to master The Way—a brutal deck of cards guarded by the enemy’s aristocracy and designed to train their most fierce commanders in the skies of war.
Finn is a young man who experienced the terror of enemy tactics first hand when they destroyed his home and ruined his family. Now, many years later, he is the only one who can save his country from witnessing the same tragedy again by jumping into the lion’s den.
In a game of The Way, players must deploy a warrior and a support card before sending their units to the enemy commander on the battlefield. As is often the case in war, things don’t always go to plan. Players must react quickly and change their deck regularly to survive, as the rules change from battle to battle, and sometimes in the middle of combat.
The game also features an interactive story with multiple endings and fully voiced cutscenes and dialogue. The choices players make on and off the battlefield can have lasting consequences that could change the course of history – for better or for worse.
Exploring the universe of Ash of Gods
Ash of Gods: The Way is the second full-fledged game set in Terminus, the series’ universe. Players who want to familiarize themselves with this medieval fantasy world in preparation for the upcoming release can play AurumDust’s previous game, Ash of Gods: Redemption. Redemption sold over 180,000 copies since its release in 2018 and won several awards, including Best Conference Game at the Games Gathering Conference in 2021.
